Here is a list of weekly radio nets which most to all members of ACARC members can participate in. Some require a General class or higher license and some require RACES membership. GMRS Net requires GMRS license.
ACARC Nets
HF Net Tuesdays 8:00 PM on 7265 kHz - 3890 kHz after daylight savings

2 Meter Net
Thursdays 8:00 PM on 146.54 mHz simplex (until repeater is moved
145.43 negative offset PL 162.2)
GMRS Net
Saturdays 6:00PM on channel 17 (462.600 mHz) simplex
Texas Traffic Net
Mon - Sat 8:30 to 9:30 AM (Local) on 7285 kHz - 3877 after daylight
savings time change.
Mon - Sat 6:30 to 7:30 PM (Local) on 7285 kHz - 3877 kHz after
daylight savings time change.

means of passing traffic.

7290 Net
Non - Fri 10:00 to Noon and 1:00 to 2:00 PM (Local) on 7290 kHz
An independent traffic net that coordinates with the Texas Traffic Net.

Texas ARES Net
Mondays 7:30 PM (Local) on 7285 kHz - 3877 after daylight
savings time change.
Follows the Texas Traffic Net. This also has a Winlink exercise
which counts as a check-in.
None of the nets above "require" membership, but if one checks in enough times or passes traffic, you will be added to their list. You can get signed up for the two traffic nets through their web sites.
RACES Nets
Must be a member of RACES and have a RACES Officer number to participate.
2nd Saturday of the month 4:00 to 5:00 PM on 7255 kHz
4th Sunday of the month 8:00 to 9:00 PM on 3975 kHz
Both have Winlink exercises which are counted as check-ins
Last Friday of odd months 8:00 to 9:00 PM on 60 meters channel 1 (5330 kHz)
DMR Net
1st and 3rd Wednesday 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Talk Group (TG) 31482 on
Bandmeister platform (different than C-Bridge
Region 6 Net 1st and 3rd Fridays on 7245 kHz - 3975 kHz after daylight
savings time change
